The frequency resolution of the analyzer is equal to the band width of the low-pass filters and can be made as small as 0.3Hz, which is not attainable by the ordinary cross-spectrum analyzers using band-pass analyzing filters. The alignment of phase characteristics of the analyzing filters directly affects the accuracy of the measured spectra and is difficult for the band-pass filters.
