The system consists of the on-board elements including CCD cameras, a video switch, a Ku-or X-band transmitter, a microphone and a power supply, and the ground elements including a Ku-or X-band receiving antenna, a receiver, a demodulator, a video recorder and video monitors. The system has been operated in ten rocket flights(one ST-735 flight, seven M-3SII ones and two M-V ones) since the start of the development in 1983,each time having been improved.
