The heliosphere was deduced from the analysis of its solar cycle variation to be in excursion phase. From the analysis of 27-day recurrence time pattern of geomagnetic activity index C 9 during 1909-1911,the inclination and the position of the heliospheric neutral sheet on the day is obtained and expressed on the two-hemisphere diagram. Superposition of the positions of the earth and the comet on the day on the diagram revealed that the comet was just on the neutral sheet on 13 May 1910.
