A preliminary survey of realtime telemetry data received at Kogoshima Space Center reveals the existence of a variety of plasma waves in the frequency range around the ion gyrofrequencies near the equatorial region of the deep plasmashere, It is confirmed that electromagnetic noise with a multiple band-structure, reported previously, are present above the helium gyrofrequency. We found that two types of ELF waves are observed at altitudes of 2000-6000km in the low latitude region. Waves with linear polarization in the plane perpendicular to the ambient magnetic field, having a large field-aligned component, are frequently observed in the frequency between proton and helium gyrofrequencies. In some cases the intensity of waves is found to be largest around the magnetic equator. Another type of waves with a dominant electric field component are observed in two distinct bands below and above the helium gyrofrequencyin the evening sector., 資料番号: SA0166929000}, pages = {121--128}, title = {EXOS-D サーチコイル観測}, volume = {25}, year = {1990} }
