In those many functions, the command which terminate balloon flight plays the most important role for balloon flight controls. This command activates a separation mechanism which is inserted in suspension ropes. Then a balloon gondola descends to the ground (or sea) by a parachute. The reliability of this flight termination command had better to be impoved by full redundant system. This paper deals with a newly developed command receiver which has a single function to receive a flight termination command. This command receiver is attached near a balloon bottom and directly connected to the separation mechanism. To combine this receiver and an ordinal command receiver attached in the gondola, the flight termination command becomes dual system. At first the design concept of this new command receiver is explained in detail in relation to the total command system.
