The first balloon launced on December 25,1990 returned near Syowa Station after 15 days flight keeping constant altitude of about 30km. It finally accomplished a one and half a circumpolar flight successfully. The second balloon, launched on January 5,1991,also flied a half round at a constant ceiling altitude and its flight duration was 5 days. Those balloon experiments were carried out by the members of 31st and 32nd Japanese Polar Research Expeditions. In this paper specially designed field instruments and apparatuses for launching works at Syowa Station are explained and actual launching process of above two balloons are also described in detail., 資料番号: SA0167039000}, pages = {53--68}, title = {南極周回気球放球オペレーション}, volume = {31}, year = {1993} }
