| 内容記述 | 本報告は, 宇宙実験・観測フリーフライヤー(SFU)の成果をまとめたものである。SFUは, 汎用・多目的のフリーフライヤーであり, 飛行後に回収され, 再飛行を行うことができる。SFUは, 1995年3月18日に宇宙開発事業団のH-IIロケットにより種子島宇宙センターより打ち上げられ, 軌道上で各種の実験・観測を行った。その後, 1996年1月13日にNASAのスペースシャトルにより回収され, 1月20日にケネディ宇宙センターに帰還した。本報告は, SFUのコアシステム(共通部分)について飛行の成果をまとめたものである。SFUの搭載実験の成果については, 別の報告書にまとめられる。本報告書の第1章では, SFUミッションの概要, SFUの開発の経緯, SFUの運用の概要について述べる。第2章では, SFUコアシステムの各々の部分について, (1)概要(主要な機能性能等), (2)軌道上での運用の結果, (3)回収後の試験・検査で判明したことを述べる。第3章では, 打上げ前から帰還後までの各運用のフェーズ毎に運用の結果を説明する。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This report presents major results obtained from the Space Flyer Unit (SFU) projet. The SFU is a general-purpose and multi-purpose free flyer, which can be retrieved and reflown. The SFU was launched by an H-II launch vehicle of NASDA from the Tanegashima Space Center on March 18,1995,and performed various experiments and observations in its orbit. SFU was retrieved by NASA's Space Transportation System (Space Shuttle) on January 13,1996 and returned to the Kennedy Space Center on January 20,1996. This report describes results of the core (bus) system of the SFU obtained from its flight. Results from the onboard experiments of the SFU are published in a separate volume. Chapter I of this report presents an overview of the SFU mission, its development history and an overview of operations. Chapter 2 describes (1) overview (major functions and performance), (2) results obtained from the flight, and (3) findings obtained from post-flight inspections of the SFU core system and its subsystems. Chapter 3 explains major results of operations from the pre-launch phase to the post-landing phase. | |||||||||
