The program consists of an ADR scenario study, key-technology development, and on-orbit servicing technology research and development as straight-forward spin-off of ADR technology toward near-future robotic servicing missions. The key-technology development has three major themes: non-cooperative rendezvous, non-cooperative capture, and deorbiting massive targets. The research program aims to integrate the ADR scenario study and the key-technology development into the technology demonstration mission plan that has technical scalability and can be a seamless step for the future low-cost ADR practical realization.
