A truss beam builder was developed in this study, whose functions can be verified easily in gravity condition on the ground. It became possible by using this machine to estimate a value of energy required for construction of the truss beam in weightlessness from results of ground experiments. Then a power control system was developed, which improves efficiency of energy usage for a DC motor from a solar array. This system adjusts numbers of series and parallel sells in the array to match an operation point of the motor with a maximum output power point of the array.
