Models of square cylinders with openings or appendages for preventing vortex shedding were employed and oscillated with approximate triangle wave of two different periods. For normal square cylinder, component of vortex shedding frequency was dominant and oscillation did not affect spectra, correlation coefficient and coherence of fluctuating velocity. For square cylinder with openings, correlation increased with oscillation. On the contrary, both stationary and oscillated cylinders with appendages show low correlation.
