The present report concerns the study on the thickening powers of various metallic soaps for squalane. Of the metallic soaps of stearic acid tested, merely Co-stearate, Ni-stearate, Al-stearate and Mg-stearate were found almost completely soluble in squalane. Al-laurate and Al-myristate were found also colloidally soluble. The comparison of the thickening powers of these squalane-soluble soaps were made by the determination of their "thickening power indeces" which indicated Good-eve's thixotropic coefficient of each solution of 1% soap in squalane. The relations of the thickening power of a soap with temperature and concentration were experimentally elucidated., 資料番号: SA1511472000}, pages = {16--22}, title = {耐寒性グリースに關する研究(第1報)スクアラン及びパラフィン系輕油に對する各種金屬石鹸の増稠効力}, volume = {4}, year = {1950} }
