| 内容記述 | A practical investigation on the percolation problems performed in Yamaguchi dam is reported. In part I, introducing the ordinary definition of permeability and the fundmental laws of percolation for mathematical treatment, the properties of constructing soils are reported. The mean effective permeability estimated from the composition of soil particles is 0.9 × 10^<-6> cm/sec, and the value is close to the measured permeability of the same soil in Murayama dam. The negative pressures due to capillarity are also estimated. The results measured by 21 gauge-tubes and an example of numerical calculation will be reported in part II. | |||||||||
