| 内容記述 | Between a pair of quartz or glass plates, a small amount of silver chloride powder was molten. After cooling, the molten sheet of silver chloride was peeled off by an edge of razor. An infrared polarizer was made with a pile of 6-10 sheets of silver chloride. and was tested with the oriented crystals of succinic acid and ε-caprolactam in the region of 3μ and 6μ. In the case of ε-caprolactam it is seen that when the C=0 stretching vibration is strong, the band due to NH stretching is weak, and vice versa. This is explained as due to the presence of the non-linear C=O…H-N hydrogen bond in the ε-caprolactam ring dimer. (Received April 15, 1952) | |||||||||
