For this purpose the actual process is traced as exactly as possible, the local variations of thickness and strain hardening taking into consideration. The calculated values for strain distributions and punch forces are compared with experimental results, about quasi-isotoropic phosphor bronze sheets drawn by plane die and conical die, and good agreements are obtained. Furthermore, calculated values thus obtained are compared with results by approximate formulas which have been suggested already by other investigators.
