From the relation between the wave height and the height of mercury reservoir, and from the temperature coefficient of the limiting current, it was concluded that the limiting current is controlled by the rate of diffusion. The polarographic diffusion coefficient was calculated to be 9.7×10^<-6>cm^2, sec^<-1>, in aqueous solution at 25℃. The wave height was found to be proportional to the concentration between 0.5~10 millimole/l.
