These solutions may correspond to the flow far down-stream the leading edge of the circular cylinder with its axis laid in uniform stream direction, and with uniform suction. The exact solutions for these flows are given in closed form for several cases, and their characteristics are discussed. Several numerical results will help to understand characteristics of these flows in contrast with the two dimensional cases.
