| 内容記述 | Diurnal variations of Martian exospheric temperatures at the times of Mariner 4,6,and 7 observations are computed by solving the time dependent heat balance equations. It is found that steep temperature gradients exist between the day and night sides of this plante, mainly due to very low temperatures at the dark side where the infrared emissions from CO_2 cool the atmosphere efficiently. They can produce a strong wind system in the Martian thermosphere. The adiabatic cooling of the atmosphere associated with the vertical wind may play a role in explainning the observed low exospheric temperatures at the sunlit side. This wind system may also work to dilute the photochemical products such as CO and O at the dayside of the ionosphere. | |||||||
