| 内容記述 | The discrete maximum principle is discussed for a class of simple finite element approximations to convective diffusion equations. The method of artificial viscosity is also introduced to improve the numerical properties of the finite element solutions. It is concluded that the discrete maximum principle is indeed valid under certain assumptions to be clarified in this paper. | |||||||
