内容記述 On the analysis of longitudinal plastic wave propagation in metallic materials, there have been proposed three types of constitutive equations, which are characterized by their assumptions on the behavior of plastic deformation as follows : i) the plastic deformation is time independent (by Th. von Karman [l]), ii) the plastic deformation is time dependent (by L. E. Malvern [2,3]), and iii) the plastic deformation possesses both natures (by N. Cristescu [4]). In this paper, a two-dimensional constitutive equation will be derived from the one dimensional constitutive equation of a second type which was used by S. Kuriyama and K. Kawata [5] to analyse the response of mild steel bar of semi-infinite length against longitudinal impact. And then, responses of a semi-circular arch against impacts by a plummet with various velocities will be solved by the finite element method using above mentioned constitutive equation. Next, these results are compared with those analysed using a time independent constitutive equation, and typical differences between the results by two types of constitutive equation will be discussed.
