| 内容記述 | The Couette flow of rarefied gases between the two concentric cylinders is analysed based on the higher-order kinetic model of Boltzmann equation, which can resemble the Boltzmann equation up to the incomplete third order (13 moments), and thus has the correct Prandtl number. In the inner rotation case where outer cylinder is fixed, the results are compared with the experiments by Alofs et al. and with the other analyses, and the good agreement with the experiments is obtained. Furthermore, the effects of centrifugal force and rarefaction on flow behaviors are examined, by comparing the inner rotation case with the outer rotation case over a wide range of Knudsen numbers; that is, the range covers from the continuum to the free molecule limit. | |||||||||
