| 内容記述 | The neutral stability of the compressible laminar boundary layer along a curved wall is examined under three-dimensional disturbances of the form of a row of streamwise vortices. It is an extension to the compressible flow of the well-known Gortler's analysis on the stability of the corresponding incompressible flow. The calculations are carried out only for the two limiting cases in which the Mach number is much less than and much greater than unity respectively. The results indicate the general instability of the compressible boundary layer along a concave wall under three-dimensional disturbances. The critical values of the Gortler parameter R_θ〓(θ/γ)and wave number α^*θ are reduced as the Mach number is increased. | |||||||
