内容記述 A versatile torsionally oscillating cone-and-plate rheometer was devised for measuring dynamic viscosity and dynamic modulus of molten polymer and disperse systems at temperatures of 30°-250℃. This apparatus can be used for stationary flow measurements as a rotational cone-and-plate viscometer and for dynamic measurements under the same geometrical conditions. A feature of the rheometer is the completely automatic electrically detecting and recording system. The oscillatory torque is supplied to the shaft of the movable cone by a torque motor. The deflection of the cone is detected by a specially designed electric detector, and is recorded on an electric recorder. The distance between the truncated cone tip and the stationary plate is held at 1/100 mm. by a micrometer unit with an electric contact. The range of measurements are 10^2-10^6 poises in viscosity and 10^2-10^6 dynes/cm^2. in modulus. Atmosphere in the chamber can be substituted by inert gas. The torsional constant of cone and the amplitude of torque acting on the cone can be varied continuously. This instrument has been used to investigate the dynamic properties of molten polymers and disperse systems. Changes of the dynamic properties by oxidation, temperature dependence, frequency dependence and amplitude dependence of the dynamic properties of unfilled and filled polymer melts are measured effectively by this instrument.
