We excited the sparks with DC, AC and pulses, but the most essential point for the generation of wave length of 1~3cm is the gap length between electrodes whose optimum values are 0.07~0.10mm. Aluminum, tungsten, silver and german silver were used for the electrode material, but tungsten was most favourable.
