Up to the present tune X-ray stereophotographs and Tomographs are essentially similar in the determination of the depths of faults in opaque bodies. But the results are obscure in these methods. The conditions of the technique to improve the accuracy of the stereophotogramm were discussed in the present work, and applying the result "Universal H-meter" was constructed, with which not only the height of the point in space but also of the inclination and length of a straight line, the area of cross section and volume of a solid could be measured. Our model experiments have proved the possibility of such construction with higher degrees of accuracy and hibher efficiency, the automatic indication of height in the Universal H-meter being met with success. It is concluded that the X-ray stereophotogrammetry exceeds the X-ray planigraphy in the accuracy of measurement, and in the efficiency and economy of film. (Received March 4, 1952) |
