The experimental results are as follows: (1) Comparing with the annealed state, the fatigue limit falls about 4% and 1% respectively for about 1% strain of tensile and compressive pre-working, and then rises for large strain. This tendency is similar to tha tobtained by the usual carbon steel (2nd and §7 of 5th reports). The fatigue strength of specimens after tensile pre-working is weaker than that by compressive pre-working of the same degree. (2) Repolishing of surface after pre-working rises the fatigue limit, but the degree of rise is smaller than that on the usual carbon steel. (3) Results of statical tensile, compressive, and uniform bending tests on pre-working specimens, and hardness tests on the specimens stressed in a direction opposite to that of pre-working, are shown., 資料番号: SA2410177000}, pages = {245--253}, title = {加工硬化した鋼材の疲労(第8報)}, volume = {7}, year = {1954} }
