| 内容記述 | The morphology of T-series bacteriophages against E. coli differed for different methods of specimen preparation. When bacteriophages were dried in the air, the effect of the surface tension of water was considerable and their heads tended to be flattened. When bacteriophages were frozen dried their heads appeared hexagonal and were slightly smaller than those by other methods. When pseudo-replicas of agar surface spread with bacteriophages were made, some irregular deformation occurred for even numbered bacteriophages. It was also found that there were artificial effects in the arrangement of bacteriophages. | |||||||||
