This project focuses on weight reduction technology and aerodynamic efficiency improvement technology, either of which reduce engine fuel consumption or CO2 emission. To achieve lighter-than-ever fan/LPT blades disks and acoustic liners, numerical simulations on detailed phenomena of impact damages are used in the structural design of these components.
