The Kanazawa Theatre), Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan, LOX/GCH4 combustion tests of sub-scaled dual-bell nozzle models have been conducted under research collaboration between DLR and JAXA. In this report, RANS simulation corresponding to these experiments was conducted to understand phenomena of the operation mode-transition and to evaluate prediction capability of the mode-transition condition in case with the combusting gas.
