It is evident, that inaccurate hole of a base plate of harmonica obstructs the vibration of the reed. The clearance between the reed and the hole is 0.02～0.04mm in one side. Therefore, the accuracy of the hole must be in the same order above-mentioned, but it will be hindered by internal stress of a plate. From this experiment, we can conclude that the annealing at 300～350℃ of the plate will lessen the irregularity of holes at punching. |
