| 内容記述 | Hideaki KUDO, Study on Forging and Extrusion Processes. Part III-Analysis on Axisymmetrical Problems. In the present paper, several axi-symmetrical forging and extrusion of Levy-Mises material are analised by means of the upper bound approach method which was found to be very effective and convenient in the preceding studies on plane-strain problems (Part I and II). To facilitate calculation, only two kinds of relatively simple velocity field, namely, the parallel velocity field and the triangle velocity field (Figs.3・1・2, 3 and 4) are used. Also the concept of unit cylindrical deforming region (Fig.3・1・1) analogous to that used in the plane-strain analysis is introduced and served to save the labour of calculation in the analysis of particular working problems. The modifications of the upper bound solution obtained for rigid-perfectly-plastic material and perfectly smooth or rough tool surface are also proposed to account for the effect of work-hardening of the material and of the Coulomb friction between material and tool. With the use of these analytical methods, the upper bounds for working pressure, the mode of deformation as well as the defect formation during compression of cylinder (Fig.3・3・1) and ring (Figs.3・3・3 and 5), bar extrusion (Fig.3・4・1), tube piercing (Fig.3・4・5), extrusion-forging (Figs.3・4・7 and 12) and opposed extrusion-forging (Fig.3・4・17) are studied. Some of these results are compared with the analytical and experimental results obtained by other investigators and found to be in good consistency with them. These results will be also compared with the experimental results in the following report, Part IV. | |||||||
