| 内容記述 | 曩に發表した「圓弧を境界とする風洞の壁の影響」と題する論文の完成續篇である.前回の論文に於いては,双極坐標のみを用ひる變換によつて四種の風洞を論じたのであるが,今回は双極坐標と楕圓亟數の結合によつて得られる寫像亟數によつて境界の一部が固定壁,一部が自由表面より成る鏡餠形風洞切口を矩形の内部に等角に寫像して,矩形領域の問題として論じたものである.先づ,模型翼の揚力が翼幅に沿つて一樣に分布して居るものと假定して境界影響の補正公式を求めた.併し乍ら,本論文の主目的は固定壁と自由表面の割合を如何にすれば境界影響が消失するかを決定することである.結局其條件として,楕圓亟數の母數k或はk'に關する簡單な方程式を導出する事が出來た.尚,前回の論文の中で取扱はれた風洞四種の中,最後の弓形風洞を除き殘り三種は何れも極限の場合として本論文に於いても論じられて居る. | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | We have now obtained a comprehensive theory of wind tunnel interference with respect to partially rigid boundaries formed of circular arcs. General formulae for the interference factor are determined for each type together with the conditions for zero interference. The results are arranged in forms suitable to immediate comprehension and appliciation furnished with tables and diagrams. Limitting cases for k'→o constitute fairly satisfactory agreement with the results developed in the previous paper. Another type of boundary with two axes of symmetry 〓 (open at both upper and lower sides of the aerofoil and closed at the remaining part) is not discussed at all in the preceding paragraphs, which deserves the attention of readers, for zero interference may also be available with this sort of partial closure. But after a close observation, there can be found what we may safely call essential to the present omission of the case apparently most suitable to an experimental arrangement; for from the point of view of mathematical treatment, it might be put into a category slightly different from the three cases such as are explained in the preceding paragraphs. And what is more, the evaluation of its interference factor, although it is not impossible, makes it necessary to get through a very complicated process of calculation, because the complex potential function is of the form [numerical formula] not entirely convenient for direct evoluation. (Here η_2 denotes one of the period of the elliptic integral of the second kind.) For this reason the actual calculation is left to those who are especially interested in such problems. | |||||||||
