内容記述 A study has been made of the effect of cold working and annealing on the properties of aluminium sheet. The results obtained are summerized briefly as follows: (1) Strain hardening occurs when annealed aluminium sheet has been worked at room temperature. (2) Strain hardened aluminium sheets are softened by annealing at about 300℃ notwithstanding their various degrees of final reduction of working. The softening temperature decreases with the increasing amounts of working. (3) Aluminium sheet when worked 50% at room temperature, has shown no marked directional properties owing to the direction of rolling. But when reduced about 90%, the directional properties can be reccgnized, especially in the annealed states after cold rolling. The directional differences of the sheet may account to 50% more for the elongation values. This directional properties cannot be removed by annealing in so far as its mechanical properties are impaired. (4) The rate of reduction per pass may not cause the variations in the mechanical properties of aluminium. (5) Heat produced by cold deformation of aluminium, may have some effects on the properties. Therefore, the sheet rolled by the continuous working, is somewhat softer than that rolled intermittently in which the metal is completely cooled after each pass. This phenomenon is remarkable in the heavily reduced sheets. (6) The grain size of sheets has an great influence on the mechanical properties. The fine grained piece has a greater strength and elongation than the coarse grained piece. (7) By calculating the Meyer's index, the capacity for strain hardening of aluminium has been determined. (8) The electrical resistance of cold worked aluminium can be minimized by the short time annealing at the temperature of about 300℃. (9) In order to get good properties in aluminium, it appears desirable to limit the final reduction to about 50 to 60% and the final annealing to about 350℃.
