Experiments were carried on eighteen, nine and six blades on model impeller, and sixteen, eight and four blades on actual impeller. The results of these experiments showed that the more the number of blades, the better the performance of the supercharger, i. e. the overall adiabatic efficiency, pressure ratio, density ratio and so on. The conclusion of this research can briefly be stated as follows.
