By means of Staudinger's equation, which expresses the relation between the viscosity and the concentration of solution, a quantity which I shall call the \"viscosity association\" was calculated for a number of high-molecular liquids. A simple relationship exists between the temperature coefficient of viscosity and the viscosity association of high-molecular liquids.
