| 内容記述 | Leonid shower activity was reported in near-real time to satellite operators world widefrom counts made by a team of observers onboard the FISTA research aircraft in the 2001 LeonidMAC mission and from two ground locations in Tucson, Arizona, and Alice Springs, Australia.Results of those measurements are presented and discussed in light of recent models of the dustdistribution in the one-revolution old dust trail of comet 55P/Tempel-Tuttle. Implications forfuture Leonid storm activity are given. | |||||||
