Despite many attempts, the details of the interaction between the entering particlesand the atmosphere are still poorly understood. We propose a physical model of high-velocity,high-altitude meteors taking into account their ablation and radiation. A new approach is used tocalculate this model that includes both gasdynamical and statistical simulations.
