The sphere has a diameter of 38 mm, and the experiments were carried out for main airflow velocity up to 1 m/s and rotating maximum speed of 1,800 rpm. It was found that the spiral vortices with mushroom type sectional forms were generated in the wake of the rotating sphere. Furthermore, the spiral vortices around the sphere were also visualized clearly in still
