In the report, the method of conservative reconstruction within cell to improve the accuracy is employed. A few theorems determining some class of difference approximations which both have high accuracy and converge to physically relevant solutions is obtained. Some numerical examples show that the difference approximations are good at capturing edges of rarefaction wave as well as shock discontinuities. The theorems treat only the scalar case, but the idea of reconstruction seems to be applied to the systems'
