Numerical analysis was also made for the aerodynamic design before HYFLEX flight and favorable agreements with wind tunnel experimental data were obtained. New computations along the HYFLEX flight trajectory starts for the investigation of aerothermodynamic characteristics of reentry flight. In the present analysis, perfect gas and nonequilibrium Navier-Stokes computations are conducted, and aerodynamic characteristics are compared with the flight experiment in
