However, it became so superannuated recently as difficult to carry out tests without trouble. Hence revitalization of the facility was started in 1995, and it will be completed at an early date. For the renewed two-dimensional wind tunnel, the improvement of operational function and data accuracy were attempted, simultaneously with expanding the possible test range by incorporating such renewal as making measuring part large-scaled and introducing a variable nozzle, in addition to the treatment for superannuating.
