For the first test of this method, measurement tests of vertical three component internal balance and base pressure were carried out to investigate effects of this model supporting equipment on aerodynamic characteristics of test model, as well as to confirm the safety using 16 percent model of ALFLEX (Automatic Landing Flight Experiment) from the viewpoint of possible range of setting angle of attack, strength and rigidity necessary for model supporting equipment. For measuring the extent of effects of this model supporting equipment on aerodynamic characteristics, the results obtained from this tests were compared with those performed in the other test of same model supported by straight sting used in the range of general test angle of attack.
