This study focuses on comparison between steady stage analysis and unsteady stage analysis for a stator rotor configuration of a high pressure turbine. The result of the unsteady stage analysis shows better agreement with experimental data than that of the steady stage analysis. This is mainly attributed to better prediction of secondary flow near the casing by the unsteady stage analysis than the steady stage
