This tool was applied to the estimation of the BVI noise carpet contour from five-bladed rotor, this rotor was tested at DNW (German Dutch Wind Tunnels) anechoic large speed wind tunnel. The calculation results show the good correlation of qualitative sound property and directivity between experiment and calculation results. However predicted noise rebel was overestimated.
