In such a case, debris mitigation measures will be inadequate and an active debris removal (ADR) will be needed to preserve the space environment. In order to realize ADR, a removal satellite that will rendezvous with non-cooperative debris object and attach propulsion system for de-orbiting, and recently many studies have been conducted for realizing ADR all over the world.
