To clarify the cause of the anomaly, low speed six component force measurement and oil flow visualization tests were performed as a preliminary test with the ALFLEX (Automatic Landing Flight Experiment) model. In the flow pattern that appears on the fuselage surface around the right and left speed brakes, necklace eddies (horseshoe type eddies) have been observed around the root of the brake.
