This is analogous to the secondary flow due to centrifugal force in the flow through a stationary curved pipe. The quantitative similarities between the two flows are demonstrated for turbulent flow by the similarity arguments and computational study using kappa-epsilon turbulence model. It is demonstrated that the mutual similarity between two flows is established for friction factors and flow
