The tested blades have a rectangular tip and a twisted NACA0012 profile. Pressure history in the tip region on the blade surface was measured using pressure transducers. Acoustic waveform was measured using three fixed microphones. Two of them were located at 2.25 R away from the rotor center on the advancing and retreating sides, respectively. The other was located below the rotor plane on the advancing side.
