| 内容記述 | As a speed of computational server has been growing, a huge scale computation, e.g. combustion chemical reaction flow, can be done. While I/O processing has become the bottleneck of numerical simulation. So in this paper, the design of storage system that does not have the I/O bottleneck is discussed, even when a huge scale numerical simulation is done. Studied is the storage system design of next generation, supercomputer system at National Aerospace Laboratory of Japan (Numerical Simulator 3). Using survey of calculation data size for actual computational fluid dynamics research, performance of speed and capacity were designed. Refereeing the simplified IEEE OSSI reference model, acceptable condition of operation was studied. As a result of these studies, high speed mass storage system was designed, which based upon computational server's local file system and which cooperates with disk and tape parallel I/O, Hierarchical Storage Management, GSN, and NFS. | |||||||||
