As the first step, an optimization technique is applied to determine the structural parameters, by using a linear unsteady potential aerodynamic theory, that attain the highest efficiency. As the second step, the numerical simulation technique, which employs a Navier-Stokes code, is applied to the system to evaluate the effects of dynamic stall phenomenon on the efficiency and energy extracted from the system.
