With a simple numerical calculation of the trajectories of test particles in Jovian gravitational field together with Coriolis force, we estimated appropriate parameters to reproduce the observed size and shape of the crescent part in the impact site. These parameters are used to simulate time evolution of three-dimensional structure of the plume. We also derived time variation of the observable cross section of the plume from the Earth, and those of splashed materials into the crescent part. These results are discussed from the geometrical point of view in order to judge two ideas, splash and grain formation, proposed as the origin of bright NIR (Near Infrared) flare observed around 6-15 min after the impact at many ground-based observatories., 資料番号: AA0063352005}, pages = {17--20}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {Geometrical model for the plume evolution: Splash or grain formation?}, year = {1995} }
